Currently officers from North East Leeds NPT are carrying out additional proactive patrols throughout our ward areas in an effort to combat burglaries and theft from motor vehicles.
On Wednesday night, Team 1 Officers, whilst on an extended duty have attended four reports of suspicious circumstances. As a result, two males were stopped and searched.
Another two males have also been arrested for a combination of five charges, including drug driving, possession of Class B drugs, theft from motor vehicle and two vehicle interference charges. To note, one of these males has now been remanded into custody.
Both will attend court in the coming weeks and we will share court updates once they are available.
